Halfway Hounds Reunion Picnic

Our first ever Halfway Hounds Reunion Picnic will be held on Sunday, October 28th from noon to 3 pm at the Memorial Pavilion in Park Ridge, NJ. The pavilion is located at 53 Park Avenue, behind the borough hall.

Over the past several years Halfway Hounds has grown into a very successful organization with the help of supporters like you.

If you have adopted a dog from Halfway Hounds, we encourage you to bring your entire family including your dog with you to the reunion. Halfway Hounds President Carl Zive will lead all the dogs in a short “Pack Walk” around the park area. We will also have trained Halfway Hounds Handlers there with some of our current adoptable dogs.

Our volunteers and foster owners are also encouraged to attend. We welcome this opportunity to reunite them with some of the dogs they helped rehabilitate and place in new homes. In addition volunteer fundraisers will have the opportunity to meet some of the dogs their efforts have helped.

Directions to Park Ridge Memorial Field/Pavilion

From the North West – Grand Avenue east to Pascack Road. Right on Pascack Road, make left at traffic light on Park Ave. Proceed on Park Ave to Borough Hall and make left into Park Ridge Borough Hall complex. Proceed past the Borough Hall and thru the parking lot past the Firehouse. Field and parking is located behind the firehouse.

From the South West – Proceed as above and continue on Spring Valley Road which turns into Freemont Avenue. Proceed to end of Freemont and turn left onto Pascack Road. Proceed to traffic light and make a right on Park Ave. Proceed on Park Ave to Borough Hall and make left into Park Ridge Borough Hall complex. Proceed past the Borough Hall and thru the parking lot past the Firehouse. Field and parking is located behind the firehouse.

From the South - Take Pascack Road north. After entering Park Ridge, proceed to traffic light and make a right on Park Ave. Proceed on Park Ave to Borough Hall and make left into Park Ridge Borough Hall complex. Proceed past the Borough Hall and thru the parking lot past the Firehouse. Field and parking is located behind the firehouse.

From the South East – Take Kinderkamack Road north to Park Avenue. Make a left on to Park Avenue. (Ridge Diner & Eckerd intersection). Proceed on Park Avenue and make right into Park Ridge Borough Hall complex. Proceed past the Borough Hall and thru the parking lot past the Firehouse. Field and parking is located behind the firehouse.
