Fostering animals saves lives because it removes animals from city pounds and shelters, where their future is uncertain, and places them into a safe, loving home in preparation for their permanent home.
“Fostering is great for the animal and it’s a great learning experience for the foster family,” says Lynn Gregorski, founder of Halfway Hounds canine rescue in Park Ridge.
